In response to your #3 Aha moment comment, I started thinking about how maybe different generations might be in different phases of media "overdo". For example, many people started in their younger days watching 8+ hours of tv but now only watch once a week for an hour. Their average throughout their life may still be high but the reality of now is that they watch very little.
