Week 2: media impact

I’d like to propose a media research project of “how celebrity advertising affects audiences”. Advertisers often use celebrities in advertising as they might think it would likely to be more effective or believable for the products. I will randomly pick 20-30 teenagers, and show them a few of celebrity advertisements and non-celebrity advertisements. Then, I will ask them to fill out a questionnaire about which advertising is more attractive and cause them to have purchase intention. I predict that teenagers with less education would be obsessed by the celebrity advertisement. On the other hand, teenagers with more education would concern about the good or bad of the products rather than putting attention on celebrities.
